Since the barrel can be removed, it's not possible to mount a rear sight on the receiver and have it reliably come back on target after barrel removal (at least in theory). It looks like the dovetail is standard, could you just drift in a nondeol-fr? or a ramp type- I know Williams made one at one time that screwed into a wedge that you drifted into the dovetail. I've always liked the Papoose, but I have a Remington 241, whcih already fills my 22 takedown needs.
